SilverNeedle Hospitality introduces a new Global Distribution System (GDS) chain code: SD (SilverNeedle Destinations).

The new GDS code consolidates hotels and resorts across SilverNeedle Hospitality’s portfolio of brands under one common code and assists you in locating our properties faster for your clients. Also, it allows you to instantly check rates, availability and to make reservations in ‘real time’.

To celebrate the launch of our new private label chain code we are extending 15% commission to agents on our daily rates booked at participating properties under the SD code from 3 October 2012 to 31 January 2013. Also, we loaded our signature seasonal packages that will provide greater choice to your clients when booking.

The SD code strengthens the global brand presence of the SilverNeedle Hospitality and our loyalty program – The Escape Club. Key properties under the Grand Chifley, Chifley, Australis, Country Comfort and Sundowner brands are now “live” under the SD code at present with more properties managed/operated by SilverNeedle Hospitality in the Asia-Pacific region to follow shortly.
